- Autobahn A3 Cologne-Frankfurt-Nuremberg-Passau
- Follow A3 until 15 km before Passau
- Take exit 114: Freyung (CZ), Phillipsreut
- Follow road 4 across the border and past Strážny
- Take road 39 to Volary towards ?eský Krumlov
- Just past Kájov take road 166 to Chvalšiny
- Follow this road (do not turn off it) to the church in Chvalšiny
- Turn right before the church, drive uphill, destination at 400 metres.
